Battery Knowladge

1. Do not modify or disassemble dell 1x511 battery.
2. If you don't plan on using the battery for a month or more, we recommend storing it in a clean, dry, cool place away from heat and metal objects. Li-ion batteries will self-discharge during storage, remember to break them in before use.
3. Higher Watt hours (Whr) or milliAmpere hour (mAH) on the same system under the same operating conditions means longer battery run time. For example, if you compare the same system, running the same applications, the dell 1x511 battery with 75Whr would provide approximately 37% more run time than the 53Whr Dell battery.
4. If you do not use your laptop for a long time, remove the dell 1x511 battery pack from the laptop.
5. Please store laptop battery in a fully charged state and kept in a cool, dry and clean place.
6. Don't short circuit of the terminals by keeping your battery pack away from metal objects such as necklaces or hairpins.
7. New dell 1x511 battery comes in a unused condition, you should first fully discharge the capacity of the battery(let the laptop turn off auto). And then for 2~3 charge(suggest overnight) and discharge cycles before achieving maximum capacity.
8. Short battery life is mainly cause by heat rather than charge and discharge patterns.
9. Avoid short circuit of the terminals by keeping your dell 1x511 battery pack away from metal objects such as necklaces or hairpins.
