Battery Knowladge

1. Do not modify or disassemble dell wr050 battery.
2. If you don't plan on using the battery for a month or more, we recommend storing it in a clean, dry, cool place away from heat and metal objects. Li-ion batteries will self-discharge during storage, remember to break them in before use.
3. Do not drop, hit or otherwise abuse the battery as this may result in the exposure of the cell contents, which are corrosive.
4. Higher Watt hours (Whr) or milliAmpere hour (mAH) on the same system under the same operating conditions means longer battery run time. For example, if you compare the same system, running the same applications, the dell wr050 battery with 75Whr would provide approximately 37% more run time than the 53Whr Dell battery.
5. When charging your dell wr050 notebook battery for the first time your computer may indicate that charging is complete after just 10 or 15 minutes. Don’t worry, this is normal with rechargeable batteries. Just simply remove the dell wr050 from the laptop and repeat the charging procedure.
6. Short battery life is mainly cause by heat rather than charge and discharge patterns.
7. Avoid short circuit of the terminals by keeping your dell wr050 battery pack away from metal objects such as necklaces or hairpins.
8. Do not expose the battery pack to direct sunlight. Never store or use the battery pack in an unventilated vehicle where excessive internal temperatures may be encountered.
9. If the liquid contained within the dell wr050 battery pack leaks, use large amounts of water an immediately wash off any liquid which may accidentally contact any part of the body. Remove any liquid that has contacted your clothes by washing them immediately with a synthetic detergent.
